From Thomas Sanderson to Safari Shutters & Blinds

For over 20 years, Matthew worked for Thomas Sanderson, one of the UK’s best-known shutter and blind companies, eventually becoming Senior Installation Manager.

During this time he oversaw thousands of installations, developed specialist knowledge of complex window shapes and motorised systems, and built a reputation for exceptional attention to detail.

In 2025, Matthew founded Safari Shutters & Blinds with a simple goal:

To provide expert advice, premium products and professional installation without the pressure of a large national sales organisation.
